Building a Foundation & Legacy
McCall Construction LLC, a family-owned construction business, has been building homes in the Suwannee County area since 1964. Carl McCall, affectionately known as "Buddy," was the name behind the business until 2003 when his son, Brent, joined the team. In 2021, Buddy officially retired, but his legacy continues to thrive in this community through all the Suwannee County homes, businesses, and pools that you will find throughout Live Oak and neighboring cities.
In 2021, shortly after Buddy retired, Brent's wife, Debbie, stepped up to the plate to help fill the void left by Mr. Buddy's departure. She quickly became adept at working alongside her husband and has been diligently taking care of McCall Construction, a family-owned construction business, since then. Now, when you reach out, it is Mrs. Debbie with whom you communicate, doing her very best to help you start the journey of building your future home in Suwannee County.
Brentson began working for McCall Construction, a family-owned construction business, while in high school but joined full time in 2025 after finishing his AA at North Florida College. His excellence in physics and math during college has been put to use immediately in design work for both new Suwannee County homes and renovations. He continues to build his CAD and BIM skills while also assisting on job sites as needed. Additionally, he maintains several of the fiberglass pools we've installed and handles most of the pool repairs.
